Get2Chip Joins Cadence Connections Program

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 21, 2001--Get2Chip Inc., the electronic design automation (EDA) supplier of system-on-chip (SOC) synthesis, today announced its membership in Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (NYSE:CDN) Connections Program, a third-party software program to enable the tightest level of interoperability between software tools.

``VOLARE Architectural synthesis is the only viable solution to raise the level of design abstraction and increase design productivity,'' said Steve Carlson, Get2Chip's vice president of marketing. ``This affiliation will be very beneficial to the SOC design community by helping to accelerate the adoption of a new design methodology to cope with the dramatic increase in design complexity caused by ultra-deep sub-micron process technologies.''
